Mexican mobile lines up 5% to 110.4 mln in Q3

Mexican mobile lines rose to 110.4 million at the end of the third quarter of 2016, around 5.2 percent up on the year-earlier result, according to a report by The Competitive Intelligence Unit (CIU). Although prepaid lines still account for 83.1 percent of the market, compared to 16.9 percent for postpaid, the latter increased by 11.3 percent year on year with prepaid lines rising a more modest 4.1 percent.
