Mexican operators to reach interconnection consensus in H1

Mexico's telecommunications regulator Cofetel plans to establish a consensus between operators to avoid lengthy court battles against the interconnection plan, Dow Jones reports, citing Cofetel's president Hector Osuna. "We have called meetings with the operators in order to establish the interconnection criteria under the plan, but with the necessary nuances so that everyone is satisfied. I think we are in the final stages of reaching a consensus and we hope to do so in the first half of the year," Osuna said.
