Tuesday 8 September 2015 | 15:55 CET | News
Mexico will have nearly five million video-on-demand OTT subscribers by the end the year, far more than Brazil, Colombia and Argentina, according to a report by Dataxis. Some half a million subscribers signed up to an OTT service in the first quarter of the year alone, driven above all by Telmex's move to bundle Claro Video with its broadband packages. In terms of revenues, the market is set to reach USD 370 million by the end of 2015, rising to USD 809 million in 2018, said the report.
