Mexican pay-TV market grows 10% in Q3 2013

The pay-TV sector in Mexico grew by 10.3 percent in the third quarter of 2013, making it the most dynamic segment in the telecommunications sector, according to an analysis by The Competitive Intelligence Unit (CIU) published in La Jornada. Between July and September, pay-TV revenues amounted to USD 993.32 million, which represented 12 percent of total industry revenues in Mexico in that period. Between January and September, the growth of the pay-TV market was 9.9 percent compared with the same period of 2012, and accumulated income of USD 2.876 million.
