Friday 4 March 2016 | 11:41 CET | News
Mexican telecoms regulator IFT has fined Maxcom a total of MXN 31.6 million for a series of quality of service issues. The watchdog said Maxcom had breached the conditions of its concession with regard to continuity of service, basic service quality and quality of lines and private networks. The fine is equivalent to one percent of Maxcom's 2014 revenues. The operator recently reported revenues of MXN 566 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, down 14 percent year on year.
