Mexican regulator launches online telecom information tool

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) has launched a new interactive tool designed to allow the public to consult, compare and download in-depth information on the country's telecommunications and broadcasting sectors. The Bank of Information Technology (BIT) is described as a dynamic platform developed by SAS Visual Analytics containing data on number portability, operator revenue and investment as well as range of telephony, broadband and television indicators.
