Mexican triple play users up to 17% - IFT

The number of Mexican users subscribing to a triple play package comprising broadband, fixed telephony and pay-TV from the same provider stands at around 17 percent, according to a survey conducted by the country's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT). Over half of respondents said they used the same provider for broadband and fixed telephony, while only 13 percent subscribed to a broadband and pay-TV package. Other findings revealed in the survey of 4,652 users include the fact that nearly 60 percent didn't bother comparing deals before signing up to a telecommunications service, while
