Mexicans prefer mobile for home internet connections - study

The vast majority of Mexicans under 50 years prefer to use their mobile phones to connect to the internet at home, according to a study conducted by communications regulator IFT. The mobile phone is the most popular device for home internet connections among users aged 18 to 24 years (67 percent), 25 to 34 years (63 percent) and 35 to 49 years (66 percent). However, 65 percent of users aged over 50 prefer to connect via their desktop computers.
