Mexico announces national digital agenda

Mexican communications and transport minister Dionisio Perez Jacome has presented the country's National Digital Agenda (ADN) for the next three years. On 30 January, the ministry announced ten actions to narrow the digital gap for implementation in the very short term. One of these was the publication of the ADN. The minister stressed the importance of good cooperation between the public and private sectors to make the most of ICT for development, productivity and competitiveness. There will be a focus on bringing new opportunities to people living in rural areas and those on low incomes.
