Mexico antitrust body finds Telmex dominant on 2 markets

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Commission (CFC) found Telmex dominant on the markets for local call traffic and wholesale leasing of dedicated lines. In the coming months, the CFC will issue resolutions on four other investigation procedures on Telmex's market power. On the local traffic market, the CFC confirmed that Telmex has substantial power in the 191 local service areas in which it currently operates.
