Mexico City airport launches free Wi-Fi service

Mexico City international airport announced the launch of a free Wi-Fi service with capacity for up to 20,000 simultaneous connections. The service was launched at the inauguration of the airport's newly refurbished Hall 75, attended by the country's Secretary of Communications and Transport, Gerardo Ruiz Esparza. The project cost MXN 210 million and the facilities will be used by nearly 5 million passengers a year, said Esparza. The airport also unveiled a new application with real-time departure and arrival information, as well as the latest weather updates.
