Mexico distributes final 93,000 DTT sets

Mexico's Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has distributed the final 93,000 digital TV sets and decoders to low-income households in rural areas to complete the government's DTT migration goals, reports El Financiero. Although Mexico announced the completion of its transition to DTT at the end of last year, the distribution of the final TV sets and decoders to poor households in two states was temporarily suspended due to the country's elections. The Ministry of Social Development said last year that it had delivered a total of 9.7 million reception kits, meeting the goal
