Mexico ends Q3 2014 with fixed broadband penetration of 14%

Mexico ended the third quarter of 2014 with a fixed broadband penetration of nearly 14 percent, according to a study by telecoms consultancy firm The Competitive Intelligence Unit (CIU). The fixed broadband market in Mexico is dominated by telecoms firm Telmex. In the mobile broadband market, the overall penetration at the end of September 2014 was around 16 percent, according to the CIU.
