Mexico leads for VOD and OTT consumption in Latin America

Mexico is leading for video on demand (VOD) and over-the-top (OTT) consumption in Latin America, according to a study by Business Bureau. Mexicans watch free-to-air TV 5.8 hours per week, compared to 10.2 hours for pay-TV. In regards to OTT, Mexicans consume 9.8 hours of content on Netflix and 4.8 hours on Claro Video. The average time users spend on VOD services is 5 percent higher than in October 2015, or 12 minutes longer.
