Mexico set to relaunch Red Troncal tender

Mexico intends to relaunch a delayed tender for the country's wholesale fibre-optic network (Red Troncal) next month, reports El Universal, citing president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. "Studies are being undertaken and we are going to going to tender around 50,000 km of fibre-optic lines… to achieve connectivity throughout the national territory," said the president, adding that the aim was to publish the conditions by mid-March.
