Mexico to finalise analogue TV switch-off on 31 December

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) has announced that the country's migration to digital TV will come to a definite end on 31 December when a total of 460 low-power TV stations will switch off their signal. The regulator said 303 of the stations – mostly regional, educational and social TV operators – will cease broadcasting on 15 December, followed by the rest on 31 December.
