Mexico tops LatAm pay-TV affordability ranking

Mexico is by far the most affordable country in Latin America for pay-TV services, according to a study from the Competitive Intelligence Unit. The average price of a basic pay-TV package in Mexico at the end of the first quarter of 2017 came to USD 26.3 a month, compared to just over USD 30 in Brazil, USD 40 in Ecuador and USD 45 in Peru and Colombia. The regional average was USD 42 a month in the first three months of the year.
