Mexico updates number portability process

Mexico's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) has once again updated the country's number portability process with a view to making it more simple and efficient for users and operators alike. Users wanting to switch operator and retain their number no longer need to submit an application form requesting the porting of geographic numbers, nor do the companies involved need to send scanned ID documents to the database administrator.
