Mexico wants private partners for new satellite project

Mexico's Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has called for expressions of interest via state-run operator Telecomm on the planned tender for the design and operation of a satellite to provide support to the Morelos 3. The new satellite will replace the Centenario, which was destroyed during a failed launch in 2015, and will be developed under a public-private partnership.
