Mexico's Cinepolis to use CastLabs tech for VoD service

Digital video technology and services provider CastLabs has announced that it will be providing its multi-platform video playback technology and DRM licence management to Mexico's Cinepolis, allowing the country's biggest cinema chain to deliver high-quality video via its Cinepolis Klic transactional video-on-demand service. Launched in 2013, Klic currently uses CastLabs player technology to facilitate multi-device playback for video-on-demand across Smooth Streaming, MPEG-Dash and HLS formats with a cross-browser Dash Everywhere player, and both online and offline playback through mobile
