Mexico's IFT suspends non-essential activities until 17 April

Mexico's Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) has confirmed the temporary suspension of all its non-essential activities from 30 March until 17 April due to measures imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the country. The watchdog said more than 93 percent of its staff are currently working remotely and that three of its units will continue their functions with a view to providing essential telecommunications services.
