Mexico's IFT to head Regulatel in 2018

Mexico's telecommunications watchdog IFT will chair the Latin American Forum of Telecommunications Regulators (Regulatel) in 2018, taking over from Chilean regulator Subtel. Regulatel is made up of 20 regulators in Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela) and 3 in Europe (Spain, Portugal and Italy).
