Mexico's ImagenTV hits 1.2 mln viewers at launch

Mexico's new free-to-air television network ImagenTV reached an audience of 1.2 million viewers just three days after launching on 17 October, reports El Economista, citing HR Media figures. A total of 589,000 tuned into the channel on the first day, 898,000 on the second and 1.2 million on the third, said the report. ImagenTV is the first over the air television network launched in Mexico in more than 20 years. Its content is based on fiction, news, entertainment and sports and will eventually include a significant component of Mexican-made original productions and hit shows from around the
