Mexico's MagicJack claims up to 58% savings on calls to US

Monday 13 June 2016 | 11:58 CET | News
Mexican company MagicJack is offering VoIP calls to the US through a local number that can be used from anywhere in the world, reports El Financiero. Subscribers pay MXN 999 for the first year of using the MagicJackGo service, a potential 58 percent saving compared to similar plans of Telcel or AT&T that cost MXN 199 per month and offer unlimited calls to the US. The small MagicJackGo device, similar in size to a USB memory stick, connects to the power supply, phone and modem, and is already available in stores such as BestBuy, Liverpool, Amazon and Linio.
