Mexico's Megacable cancels six more Televisa channels

Monday 3 October 2016 | 14:22 CET | News
Mexican pay-TV operator Megacable has announced that it will no longer broadcast six Televisa Networks channels after the Televisa Group unilaterally cancelled the corresponding distribution contract. In a statement to the Mexican stock market, Megacable said it will stop airing TDN, UTDN, Telemundo, Canal 2 Delay (Las Estrellas), Golden Premier and UFC, replacing them with NFL Networks, Fox Sports 3, NBA TV, Planet X, I-SAT and Azteca 13 Delay. The move brings to 20 the number of Televisa-programmed channels removed from Megacable's lineup in the past month.
