Mexico's Morelos 3 satellite launches into orbit

United Launch Alliance, a partnership of Lockheed Martin and Boeing, has launched Mexico's Morelos 3 communications satellite on the Atlas 5 rocket, reports Reuters. The satellite is designed to provide mobile voice, data, internet and video services for Mexican national security and civilian services over the next fifteen years. Mexico is paying Boeing about USD 1 billion for a three-satellite system, collectively known as Mexsat.
