Mexico's shared network to require 12,000 new towers

Mexico's shared network project requires the installation of around 12,000 new telecom towers throughout the country, according to estimates from TowerXchange, reports Reforma. However, the number of towers required for the first stage of this project, in which the developer must achieve coverage of 30 percent of the population, is uncertain as the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) said it will depend on the business model that wins on the tender.
