Mexico's Telecomm to launch wholesale services in 2015

Mexico's state-run telecommunications operator Telecomm expects to start selling connectivity services for cable TV and telecoms operators in the first half of 2015, CNN Expansion reports. According to the report, the telco will invest a total of MXN to 9.7 billion to launch wholesale connectivity services. Following the telecoms reform approved by the government this year, Telecomm is now responsible to operate the fibre optic network owed by Mexico's state-owned electric utility Federal Electricity Commission (CFE). CFE and Telecomm had previously signed a memorandum of understanding to
