Mexico's Televisa launches Izzi TV platform

Mexican triple play operator Izzi Telecom, owned by media conglomerate Televisa Group, has announced the launch of a new pay-TV offering called Izzi TV. The service costs MXN 360 a month and comes with 220 live channels, including 60 in HD and 30 international channels, plus access to 14,000 VoD titles, including movies, TV series and documentaries under Televisa's recently-launched SVOD platform Blim. Izzi TV uses the Iris multiscreen TV platform of Spanish audiovisual tech company Mirada for live, on demand and catch up content, with features such as timeshift, remote recordings, smart
