Mexico's Televisa to produce Netflix original content next year

Over two years after removing all Netflix content from its Blim OTT platform, Mexican broadcaster Grupo Televisa is set reintroduce content from the streaming giant's catalogue next year and even collaborate on the production of original Spanish-language movies and series, reports local daily El Popular, citing Televisa Studios CEO Patricio Wills. In addition to Netflix, Televisa is set to partner with a number of international OTT and content players, including Sony, TNT, Endemol and Amazon Prime Video, said the chief executive.
