Mexico's Televisa to use Taboola content discovery platform

Discovery platform Taboola has announced a strategic agreement with Mexican pay-TV giant Televisa to provide content recommendation services as part of the latter's monetisation strategy. Under the terms of the deal, Televisa will use Taboola's predictive algorithmic technology to serve personalised content in the form of both editorial and video recirculation to its audiences online. The partners said they expect the collaboration to produce 60 million page views per month in view of research indicating that 65 percent of people access the internet while simultaneously watching TV in Mexico.
