Mi Store Portugal enables payments in cryptocurrency

Thursday 5 August 2021 | 16:55 CET | News
Mi Store Portugal, the official shop of Chinese brand Xiaomi in Portugal, has partnered Utrust to allow its customers to pay for their online purchases in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin Ethereum, including stablecoins such as Tether. Utrust allows the use of tokens and a device is required to read a QR Code. If a refund is needed, Utrust buys the cryptocurrency at whatever price it is at on the current market, and sends the buyer the same monetary amount, regardless of price volatility, according to Executive Digest.
