Micromax targets 30% 4G market share in India

Indian smartphone maker Micromax targets a share of 30 percent of India's 4G market. Samsung currently leads the 4G segment in India, followed by China's Lenovo and Xiaomi. To achieve its target, Micromax will not offer bundled services in partnership with a single operator, The Economic Times reports, citing Micromax Informatics CEO Vineet Taneja. The Micromax executive did not rule out the possibility of co-branded 4G phones with Reliance Jio. "Never say never...But not this year", Taneja said.
