Microsoft appoints Lawal as MD of African Development Centre in Nigeria

Microsoft has appointed Gafar Lawal as the managing director of its Africa Development Centre (ADC) in Nigeria, launched in May. The centre aims to recruiting world-class African engineering talent to develop innovations for the intelligent cloud and intelligent edge. With more than 20 years of experience in various business functions, Lawal returns to Microsoft from Morgan Stanley, where he served as managing director and global chief technology architect for the wealth management division.
