Microsoft expands Azure availability zones in South Africa

Microsoft has launched Azure Availability Zones in its South Africa North region. There are three unique, physically separated locations (zones) in a single region for greater availability and asynchronous replication for disaster recovery protection. Microsoft launched its enterprise-grade data centres in Johannesburg and Cape Town in March 2019.
