Microsoft expands free Windows licensing - report

Microsoft is said to be expanding its subsidies to vendors for Windows-based tablets, reported Digitimes. In addition to sub-9-inch models, Microsoft is also extending free Windows licenses to tablets priced below USD 250, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
