Microsoft Germany names new head of wholesale, partners

Microsoft Germany announced the appointment of Thorsten Herrmann (49) as a new member of the management team from 1 April, responsible for the wholesale and partner business in Germany from 1 July. Herrmann reports directly to the chairman of Microsoft Germany, Sabine Bendiek. He replaces Alexander Stueger, who held the position on an interim basis since the departure of Alastair Bruce in July 2016. Herrmann comes from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where was vice president for the global business relationship with SAP for the past three years.
