Microsoft launches Azure ExpressRoute service in Taiwan

Microsoft Taiwan teamed up with Taiwanese telecom operators Chunghwa Telecom, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Taiwan Mobile and Chief Telecom to offer localised Azure ExpressRoute service, writes online publication DigiTimes.com citing Microsoft Taiwan's general manager Ken Sun. The service allows enterprise clients to connect to a total of 140 Azure cloud data centres in 54 regions globally, using an exclusive network connection provided by any of the four telecom operators.
