Microsoft launches new Edge web browser based on Chromium

Microsoft has issued the first full release of its new Edge web browser based on the Chromium open-source software developed by Google. The company announced a year ago plans to adopt the Chromium platform, used also for Google's Chrome browser, in order to improve the web experience for its users.
