Microsoft launches 'Student Advantage' platform in Kenya

Microsoft has announced a new online learning programme to benefit higher education students. Mark Matunga, the education technology advisor with Microsoft in Sub-Sahara Africa, said the product known as 'Student Advantage' will add value to education without Microsoft necessarily taking over teaching. The 'Student Advantage' under Office 365 Education begins on 01 December in higher education institutions worldwide and a licensed Office 365 proplus software is free to students at no additional cost. Office 365 ProPlus includes all the familiar and full Office applications locally installed
