Microsoft offers free online courses for Lao students

Microsoft has signed an agreement with Lao's Ministry of Education and Sports, and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications to provide more than 2,500 free online courses to Lao students. The training will be provided free of charge to young Lao citizens, to help them develop skills and knowledge to compete in an increasingly connected Asean community, The Nation reports. The project provides Lao students and enterprises with access to training courses via cloud technology developed by Microsoft.
