Microsoft opens AI R&D center in Taiwan, to invest TWD 1 billion in two years

Microsoft has officially launched its AI (artificial intelligence) research and development center in Taiwan. Microsoft plans to invest TWD 1 billion in two years to build a 100-employee R&D center team and will continue to expand its R & D center with the goal of recruiting more than 200 AI R & D exmployees within five years. The facility will focus on AI technology research and industrial application development, and will support three AI research projects including SwiftKey Chinese input of intelligence, user intent recognition (Audience Intent Recognition), and AI vertical industry
