Microsoft opens cybersecurity center in Seoul

Microsoft has inaugurated a cybersecurity centre in Seoul, South Korea. The facility will collect security-related data such as malicious code and share it with South Korean researchers of the National Security Research Institute to improve cybersecurity services, Yonhap news agency reports. Microsoft said Korea's developed IT infrastructure makes it one of the key targets of cyberattacks from around the world, adding that the company contributes to improving the country's online security.
