Microsoft opens Mexican cybersecurity centre

Microsoft has announced the opening of a Cybersecurity Engagement Centre in Mexico City to support government efforts against cybercrime while also serving other Latin American countries. The centre aims to take advantage of Microsoft's proactive role in matters of fighting cybercrime, particularly in the dismantling of criminal organisations that operate through Botnet schemes. It will also bring together cybersecurity experts from Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America to work with Microsoft specialists against cybercrime.
