Microsoft to offer right to be forgotten on Bing

Microsoft plans to offer users in Europe of its Bing search engine the right to be forgotten. This follows the EU Court ruling that forced Google to allow individuals to request their personal information be removed from search results if it was no longer accurate or of public interest. Microsoft confirmed to the New York Times that it plans to follow the lead of Google, which responded to the court ruling by creating an online form that lets individuals request removal of links. Microsoft said "developing an appropriate system is taking us some time", but it expects to start the take-down
