Microsoft to provide Office 365 free for Croatian schools

The Croatian government and Microsoft signed the Education Transformation Agreement that will see Microsoft provide free use of Office 365 to 550,000 students and teachers. The agreement, worth USD 12.5 million, was signed during the visit of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to Croatia. Microsoft also signed an agreement on cooperation and joint marketing activities with Hrvatski Telekom, while the mayor of Osijek announced Microsoft's intentions to set up a third Innovation Center in the country for the further development of the software economy.
