Microsoft's venture fund sets up office in India

Microsoft's venture fund M12 opened an office in India's Bengaluru that will back efforts in pursuing investment opportunities, according to online publication IndiaTimes.com citing a statement. The M12 network already includes San Francisco, Seattle, London, and Tel Aviv. The local office will pursue investment opportunities across the region, focusing on B2B software startups in the sectors of applied AI, business applications, infrastructure, security, and vanguard technologies.
