Midokura, Fujitsu launch joint OpenStack-based cloud service

Network virtualisation specialist Midokura has signed a partnership agreement with Japanese ICT company Fujitsu. UNDewr the terms of the deal, Midokura and Fujitsu will offer a joint platform that integrates Midokura's MidoNet network virtualization software with Fujitsu's private cloud platform software dubbed 'Fujitsu Software ServerView Resource Orchestrator (ROR)'. The combined technology, based on the open source cloud management system, OpenStack, is expected to allow enterprise customers to build scalable and fault-tolerant multi-tenant private clouds.
