Millicom looks to expand Facebook's Internet.org in LatAm

Millicom may launch Facebook's Internet.org initiative in another two Latin American countries this year, CNET reports, citing Millicom's EVP for Latin America Mario Zanotti. Last January, Millicom and Facebook inked an agreement to take the initiative to Colombia through Millicom's local unit Tigo. Under the agreement, Tigo's subscribers have access to a number of information, social media and government services without any data charges via the internet.org app. In Latin America, Millicom operates under the Tigo brand in Colombia, Paraguay, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa
