Millicom picks Telepin software for Tigo Cash platform

Friday 23 October 2015 | 11:18 CET | News
Mobile money transaction platform provider Telepin Software announced a contract to provide the infrastructure for three of Mililicom's Tigo Money operations in Africa. Under the terms of the deal, Telepin will conduct a full migration from Millicom's existing mobile financial services platform and power Tigo Cash in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda as well as Tigo Pesa in Tanzania. Tigo said the upgrade would help it to expand its mobile financial services offering and inter-operate across all of its regions.
